Nissan Fairlady/300ZX Z32 Steering Rack Boot Kit

The rubber bellows on each end of a Z32 steering rack keep grit and water off the inner tie-rod joints. Once a boot splits, road dirt works into the socket, the inner rod loosens, and you get play in the wheel long before the outer end fails. The Genuine Nissan Steering Rack Boot Kit is the factory dust cover for those inner joints.

Each kit is one boot for one side of the front rack. Left and right are the same part. Two kits are required to do both sides. This is the front rack boot on Fairlady Z and 300ZX Z32, including Super HICAS cars—the rear HICAS inners use different hardware. Replace both boots when one is torn, and inspect the inner sockets while they are exposed.
