Nissan Fairlady/300ZX Z32 Nissan MT 5-Speed Clutch Fork & Bearing Spring Kit

A Z32 clutch job is not finished when the disc and pressure plate go in. Two small springs hold the fork and release bearing in place, and both flatten after years of pedal load. The Genuine Nissan MT 5-Speed Clutch Fork & Bearing Spring Kit replaces those pieces on Fairlady Z and 300ZX Z32 five-speed cars.

The kit includes one clutch-release-bearing holder spring (location 30514) and one withdrawal-lever retainer spring (location 30534). The first clip keeps the throw-out bearing sleeve on the fork. The second holds the fork on the pivot ball so the lever returns cleanly. Nissan uses both on the Z32 five-speed transmission case and clutch-release assembly. They are not included with many replacement forks, which is why they get skipped and then rattle, hang, or leave the bearing sitting crooked.

These springs belong on the job whenever the clutch, fork, or release bearing comes out. They do not convert an automatic car and they are not a complete fork kit.
