A Fairlady Z glove-box lid that will not stay shut, or a barrel that spins without catching, is usually the lock in the lid—not the dash striker. That assembly holds the key cylinder and the latch that hooks the box closed. Plastic tabs break and the lid drops open on every bump.
The Genuine Nissan Glove Box Lid Lock Assembly is the factory lock for JDM Fairlady Z32. One is required. It is specified for 1989–2000 cars including standard roof (Z), T-bar (KZ), convertible, and late Version S. This listing is JDM only. USDM 300ZX glove-box locks use a different number.
