Nissan Fairlady/300ZX Z32 Front Wheel Bearing

A growling Z32 front hub is easy to ignore until the steering goes vague and the rotor starts to run out. Genuine Nissan front wheel bearing is the current bearing for Fairlady Z and 300ZX Z32 front knuckles. The same number fits left or right and was supplied new by NSK and NTN.

The bearing presses into the aluminum knuckle; the hub then presses into the inner race. That stack takes cornering load, braking torque, and the unsprung mass of a 3.0-liter Z, so a cheap pattern bearing that looks close on the bench often loses preload after a season of heat. The genuine race restores factory running clearance, quiets the hub, and keeps the rotor true so the pads wear evenly again.

Press only on the outer race into the knuckle and only on the inner race onto the hub. Fit a new grease seal and the knuckle snap ring while the press is set up. Reuse the old hub only if the flange and splines are sound. If both sides rumble, replace the pair together.
