The R34 GT-R already has a stiff shell, but the front floor and steering-rack area still flex when you load the front tires hard. The NISMO Front Chassis Reinforcement Brace (part number 54422-RSR46) is the factory underfloor bar developed for every BNR34 Skyline GT-R. It replaces the genuine front cross bar, then picks up an extra mount on the steering rack so the rack, subframe, and side members work as one structure.
NISMO builds this bar from high-carbon steel tube. The job is to raise torsional and bending stiffness under the cabin, not to hang lower than the stock underbody. Properly fitted, it does not become the lowest point on the car. The payoff is less twist through the front floor, a more linear steering feel, and a chassis that stays planted when the ATTESA system and front suspension are working.
