This is a high-temperature exhaust gasket used on each turbo. Two are required, one per bank. It fits USDM 1990–1996 300ZX twin-turbo models and JDM Fairlady Z 1989–1996 twin-turbo models only. It does not apply to naturally aspirated VG30DE engines.
The original ring flattens after heat cycles and should come off whenever a turbo, downpipe, or manifold job opens that joint.
