An NA Z32 needs the correct stick in the tube or the reading is worthless. The Genuine Nissan Oil Dipstick / Oil Gauge Level (part number 11140-30P03) is the factory oil-level gauge for naturally aspirated Fairlady Z and 300ZX Z32 engines.
This piece is VG30DE only. It fits USDM 300ZX 1990–1996 non-turbo cars and JDM Fairlady Z 1989–2000 non-turbo cars. Twin-turbo VG30DETT engines use a different dipstick and will not read correctly with this rod.
Heat and oil harden the handle and fade the marks until the stick is easy to miss or hard to trust. One is required. Fit the NA gauge after a pan job, a tube swap, or whenever the original handle is cracked.
