A cracked reservoir cap on a Tokico master lets moisture into the Z32 brake fluid. The Genuine Nissan Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Cap is the factory cap assembly for Tokico-equipped Fairlady Z and 300ZX masters.
This cap is Tokico only. Nabco masters use a different lid, and aftermarket cylinders will not take this thread or seal. One is required. It fits USDM 300ZX and JDM Fairlady Z Z32 cars that left the factory with a Tokico master, NA or twin-turbo.
The original seal hardens and the vent fails, then the fluid darkens. Replace the cap when the reservoir is off or the gasket is torn.
