The center underfloor bar on an R33 or R34 GT-R is a different part from the front brace. The NISMO Center Under Floor Reinforcing Bar specified for both BCNR33 and BNR34.
NISMO designed this unit to replace the genuine center cross bar, then pick up extra fasteners at the rear suspension stays. That ties the mid-floor structure to the rear subframe instead of leaving the factory bar as a standalone crossmember. The tube is high-carbon steel, the same family of underfloor reinforcement NISMO uses on the front of these cars. Fitted correctly, it does not become the lowest point on the chassis.
The goal is less twist through the cabin floor when the car is loaded in a corner or on a bumpy circuit. Steering and rear traction both benefit when the floor stops working independently of the rear stays. Installation requires removal of the stock center cross bar and the additional rear stay hardware; it is a workshop job, not a simple bolt-on.
