Enhance the performance and reliability of your Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, GTST, or GTS4 with the Cusco 3L Large-Style Oil Separator Catch Can, now available at Terra Firma Automotive. Designed for high-performance RB26DETT and RB20DET engines, this premium catch can reduces harmful oil blow-by, preventing oil mist and vapor from contaminating your intake system and intercooler piping. By trapping blow-by gases that can decrease horsepower and degrade engine efficiency, it ensures a cleaner, more efficient burn while keeping potentially harmful gas and oil mixtures from entering the combustion chamber.

The Cusco Oil Separator combines performance with style. Its mirror-polished aluminum construction creates a motorsport-ready appearance while offering a substantial 3-liter capacity for extended maintenance intervals and optimal oil separation, even under boosted or high-revving conditions. Unlike standard production engines that release unburned gases into the cylinder head, this catch can safely recycles them into combustion, reducing pollution and improving engine efficiency—a feature that sets it apart from competing solutions.

Engineers at Cusco have crafted this catch can to integrate seamlessly with your Skyline R32, whether running a GTR, GTST, or GTS4. With a 22mm hose diameter for reliable flow and compatibility with standard radiators and compact battery configurations, installation is simple and dependable.

Terra Firma Automotive is dedicated to offering enthusiasts the ultimate in performance and engine protection. Equip your Skyline R32 with the Cusco 3L Large-Style Oil Separator Catch Can and experience enhanced horsepower, cleaner combustion, and the confidence that comes from precision motorsport engineering. Drive with certainty knowing your engine is safeguarded while your build looks as aggressive as it performs. 280mm Long X 80mm Wide X 180mm Tall. Not recommended for larger battery set-ups.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • What are the dimensions of this catch can? I've changed batteries to a larger battery and want to know if this will fit in conjunction.

Hi, this is a great catch can and looks excellent when installed, but it will not work with larger batteries. We do run these units in cars with the Antigravity batteries we sell, which are lightweight, powerful, and compact. If you need more flexibility with placement, you may want to consider the Greddy catch cans we carry, as they can be installed in various locations.

The dimensions of this unit are approximately 280mm long, 80mm wide, and 180mm tall.

Thanks, and let us know if you have any other questions.

  • For GT-R: the tank has 2 connections on the back, one is using the supplied clear tube that connects the tank to the blow-by pipe. That leaves the other connection open. The instructions does not mention anything about the other connection... is it supposed to be plugged or a breather filter attached to make it vent to atmosphere? Reference: #1 and #5 in the instruction photo.

Hi, For the Cusco 3L Catch Can on the R32 GT-R, one connection is used to route blow-by gases from the engine, as you noted. The second connection is intended as a vent and should not be left open. You have two options depending on your setup: you can attach a breather filter to vent it to atmosphere, or you can plumb it back into the intake system for recirculation. Cusco’s instructions don’t always specify this because it depends on your preferred setup. Make sure whichever method you choose keeps the line secure and prevents leaks. Hope this ansers your question. Thanks!

  • Is the drain port on the back? Would the whole unit have to be removed to drain?

HI, good question. We pulled one off the shelf to check. The tank itself as no drain port, but the hose can detached and drained since its on the lower side. Thanks
