The V CAM system takes tuning to higher levels compared to Step 1 and Step 2. Featuring a specially designed cam with a duration of 264° and valve lift of 10mm, Step Pro is optimized for achieving higher power outputs at high RPM. By carefully considering cam material, profile, and valve timing changes, this system delivers impressive performance gains.
To ensure durability and reliability at high RPM, a billet camshaft is utilized, providing enhanced strength even when used with upgraded Valve Springs. Furthermore, the hollow cam design contributes to weight reduction, making Step Pro 560g lighter than Step 1 and Step 2.
With a 50° adjustment range for valve timing (from 80° to 130°), precise tuning is achievable to suit specific vehicle specifications. Additionally, the exhaust cam can be selected to further optimize performance.
Please note that Step 2 Valve Springs are required, and recess modification of the cylinder head is necessary for installation. To fully harness the capabilities of the Vcam System Step Pro, HKS Forged Pistons are recommended.
