Enhance the handling and performance of your Nissan Skyline R32, R33, or R34 with the NISMO Rear Upper Adjustable Control Arms (RUA), available at Terra Firma Automotive. These precision-engineered control arms are a direct upgrade over the factory stamped steel units, providing superior strength and a wider range of rear camber adjustment. Essential for lowered vehicles and performance-oriented alignments, they offer improved stability and predictability, ensuring sharper handling and better tire contact on the road or track.
Crafted using advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA), these CNC-milled 6061-T6 billet aluminum arms are designed to exceed factory strength while maintaining a lightweight structure. The integration of NISMO’s exclusive double adjusters, made from 4130 chromoly and 6061-T6 aluminum rotating clamps, allows for precise fine-tuning without sacrificing durability.
For maximum performance, these control arms feature spherical bearings and rod ends with a Teflon liner. This design eliminates bushing deflection under load, reduces friction, and ensures smooth articulation. The self-lubricating and self-cleaning properties make them exceptionally reliable for both street and track applications. Upgrade to NISMO Rear Upper Adjustable Control Arms today and experience the precision and stability that true motorsport engineering delivers.
Questions & Answers
Ask a Question-
Are these just better than the regular nismo upper arms? I am wondering why the shape is not a full wishbone like the nismo arms are, the adjustable ones are more of a half moon, would that not change things for an r32 gtr?
It depends on your goals. The Nismo wishbone-style upper arms are stamped factory units with welded reinforcements and Nismo-designed bushings, while the RUA-style arms are fully machined billet units. The photo shown is of the actual part, taken in-house by our team. These billet units are very popular among enthusiasts for their precision and durability. Comparing the content on both parts can provide more insight, as there’s a lot of technical information available. As for why Nismo designed their arms as a full wishbone versus the half-moon shape of the adjustable RUA units, we can’t say for certain—my guess is it could be for weight savings or specific handling characteristics. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether you prioritize factory-style geometry or the adjustability and rigidity of the billet RUA design
